Hadith of the Day

A reminder for the heart 🤍

Sunday, May 17, 2026

Assalam o Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! 🌙

Every day, we wake up and rush into our lives — work, school, responsibilities. But sometimes, all we need is one small reminder to bring our hearts back to what truly matters.

Today's Hadith is one of those reminders. It is short. It is simple. But if we really think about it — it can change the way we live. 🤍

☪ Today's Hadith

الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ

English Translation

"A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands other Muslims are safe."

📚 Reference: Sahih Al-Bukhari | Hadith 10
Authentic

💭 Let's Think About This Together...

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not say a Muslim is the one who prays the most, or fasts the most — although those are beautiful acts of worship. He said a Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands others are safe.

Think about your tongue for a moment. How many times in a day do we say something that might hurt someone — without even realizing it? A harsh word to our spouse. An impatient reply to our child. A comment that makes someone feel small.

And our hands — how we treat people, how we deal in our work, how we interact with the world around us. This Hadith is a beautiful mirror. It asks us to look at ourselves and ask: "Am I truly a Muslim in my actions — not just in my words?" 🤍

🌟 3 Ways to Apply This Hadith Today

1
Think Before You Speak

Before saying something — ask yourself: "Is this kind? Is this necessary? Will this hurt someone?" If the answer is no — stay silent. Silence is often the most powerful speech. 🤐

2
Say Something Kind to Someone Today

A simple "JazakAllah Khair", a compliment, a word of encouragement — these cost nothing but mean everything. Make someone's day better with your tongue today. 😊

3
Help Someone With Your Hands

Help a neighbor. Give some charity. Help your child with their homework. Small acts of kindness done with your hands are acts of worship. Never underestimate them. 🤲

🤲 Today's Dua

اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي وَلِسَانِي وَيَدِي

"O Allah, purify my heart, my tongue, and my hands."

May Allah make us from those whose tongues speak only goodness and whose hands bring only kindness to this world. Ameen. 🤍

Day of Arafah 2026 — 9th Dhul Hijjah | Fast, Dua & Forgiveness 🌄

🌄 9th Dhul Hijjah — Yawm al-Arafah The Greatest Day of the Entire Year 🤍 Day of Arafah 2026 — Dhul Hijjah 9 Assalam o Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! 🌙 Close your eyes for a moment. Imagine millions of people — from every country, every language, every background — all standing on one plain. No rich, no poor. No black, no white. No king, no beggar. Just human beings — dressed in simple white — crying, praying, asking Allah for forgiveness. That is Arafah. That is today. The Prophet ﷺ called this the greatest day of the year. Allah Himself boasts to His angels about the people standing on Arafah. And the best part? You do not have to be in Makkah to feel its blessings. Today — wherever you are — the doors of heaven are wide open for you. 🤍 🌄 What is the Day of Arafah? Arafah is a vast plain located about 20km east of Makkah. On the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, the pi...
