Controlling Anger — The Strength the Prophet ﷺ Praised Most 🤍
Assalam o Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! 🌙
We all have those moments — when someone says something, or something does not go right, and anger rises so fast it feels uncontrollable. In that heat, words come out we regret later, and relationships get hurt.
Today's reminder shows us a completely different definition of strength — one that has nothing to do with how loud you can shout, and everything to do with how well you can hold yourself together. 🤍
🌟 3 Sunnah Steps When Anger Rises
The Prophet ﷺ taught this — anger is from Shaytan's whispers, and seeking refuge in Allah is the first defense. 🛡️
The Prophet ﷺ specifically instructed this physical change of position to interrupt the rising anger. 🪑
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Anger comes from Shaytan, and Shaytan was created from fire. Fire is extinguished with water. So if one of you becomes angry, let him perform wudu." 💧
May Allah help us control our anger and become from among those He truly loves. 🤍
Practice one of these three steps the next time anger rises today.
